Thanks Caro! Yes, the funny thing is, I was asked to do the gig by someone who didn't know I could sing either! They said I could do whatever I liked, like maybe a reading? I said... or I could sing some traditional folk songs?... Then a bit later on I found out that Jennifer was here in NZ through some good friends of mine, Chris in NZ & Eliza in the UK. Jennifer & Eliza have been touring together, & Chris runs a folk festival, Hamsterfest. So everyone is very happy that I got asked. All very circuitous & thus, proper Wizardly!
Great observations
Love these. And am going to try get to your gig it looks brilliant!
You are singing in support of Ye Jennifer! Wow. I did not yet know you sang. Have a great gig.
Also ploughed fields / brown corduroy - lovely. In Devon, they are red velvet.
Also, also, love the new wordmark.

I've written a bit about folk-singing in the past, like here for instance: https://open.substack.com/pub/rosiewhinray/p/folk-songs-and-folk-singers
Warmed my day, thank you.
This is proof that there doesn't have to be a point to have meaning...
Needed this, deeply. Thank you for letting us ride along with you. ps - I’d like to think the shape of the green family is arterial, plant lung-ish.
